January 20 - White-tailed deer


White-tailed deer - Native to the United States, and also found in Canada, Mexico, Central & South America. The white-tail has a four-part stomach. It can survive winter in cold northern forests by feeding on vegetation that most other animals cannot digest.

I was run over by a family of white tailed deer in 1981, NC Jacksonville.
